23.16 通过About更新Chrome失败

Q:

已经正确设置IE HTTPS代理，通过About更新Chrome，总是提示重启Chrome完成更新。
检查下列文件、目录已就位:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\x.x.x.x\
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Update\Download\{...}\x.x.x.x\x.x.x.new_x.x.x.old_chrome_updater.exe

GoogleUpdate.exe曾经有过幺蛾子

C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Update\GoogleUpdate.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Update\x.x.x.x\GoogleUpdate.exe

假设上述两个文件不同步，前者是旧版、后者是新版，导致在线升级失败。对于
chrome.exe存在类似问题，找到两个文件:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\new_chrome.exe

前者是旧版、后者是新版，我猜正常情况下在重启Chrome过程中会将new_chrome.exe
移动成chrome.exe，完成新旧替换。不知何故，猜测中的动作没有完成。手工完成该
动作即可。

后来多了一对文件:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome_proxy.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\new_chrome_proxy.exe
